Chilled Carrot & Turnip Slaw with Dill Dressing

Fresh, crunchy, and herby — this slaw makes a perfect side for grilled food, sandwiches, or as a topping for tacos.
Ingredients:
3–4 teenage carrots (Four Elements Farm)
shredded or julienned
2–3 hakurei turnips (Wobbly Cart Farm)
shredded or thinly sliced
1 Tbsp fresh dill
chopped (Rising River Farm)
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
½ tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
In a medium bowl
combine shredded carrots and turnips.
In a small jar or bowl
whisk together oil
vinegar
dill
honey (if using)
salt
and pepper.
Pour dressing over vegetables and toss to coat. Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.
